Newsletter Issue #9 - December 2023

Wow - what a year it’s been at Co Create! Thank you to everyone who has supported or attended our workshops & courses, those who have come along Community Thursdays, dropped into The Living Room, helped with community projects & commissions or have been involved with making our products for Co Create Shop. Your participation and support are crucial in making what we do possible.

In this month’s newsletter, we wanted to celebrate by sharing some of our highlights from the year!

The Co Create Team

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Celebration Evening! It was such a wonderful evening full of delicious food, creativity, sharing of stories and hearing from John about the vision going forward for Co Create. We particularly want to thank Jo who provided the most amazing Christmas refreshments, and to all those who helped make the evening happen - we could’t have done it without you!

We have loved opening up our workshop every Thursday as a drop-in community space. Over the past few months, we have welcomed so many new faces into our workshop and have hosted various creative activities (from spoon whittling, to fudge making, through to our drop-in cooking sessions!). Thank you to all those who have come along on a Thursday and to those who have headed up our creative activities - there has been such a buzz in the workshop on Thursdays and we’ve loved being able to host a space for community, creativity and connection.

The Living Room

Alongside Community Thursdays, we also launched our new drop-in community space, ‘The Living Room’. The Living Room is open every Thursday from 9:30am-3:30pm for you to drop in for a cuppa! Shout out to Pete, Debs & everyone who helped transform our storage cupboard into this beautiful space.

Co Create Shop

This year we launched our shop! Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this new project - whether you have shared our social media posts, helped make one of our products in the workshop, told a friend about us, or made a purchase - we are so grateful for your support.
