Collection

We collect waste timber within Exeter & the surrounding area. Our collections run weekly on a Wednesday morning.

Unfortunately we cannot collect pallets for free but we do offer a paid collection service for £200 per truck load, roughly the same amount as an 8-yard skip, as the minimum collection.

We collect your unwanted, usable wood and repurpose it for one of our many courses

Any timber that we do not have an immediate use for in our projects is sold from our Wood Store at the Hospiscare Warehouse, Trusham Road, Marsh Barton, Exeter EX2 8RB.

10% of sales are donated directly to Hospiscare with the remaining amount helping to fund our courses, premises and keep our trusty collection truck alive.

FAQs

  • We will collect the following timber to be reused and up-cycled:

    • Lengths of wood ideally +2m

    • Sheet materials

    • Solid wooden furniture

    • Pallets (£200 charge per truck load)

    • Solid wooden doors

    • Floorboards

    • Joists & roof timbers

    • Scaffold boards

    • Hardwood off-cuts

    • Barrels

  • Regrettably we are unable to collect all timber, which includes:

    • MDF or chipboard

    • Wet sheet timber

  • We will happily collect within Exeter and the surrounding area up to 30 minutes drive from EX2 8RB.

  • We aim to collect within 48hrs of booking.

    Alternatively, we are able to plan collections in advance or on a regular basis to ensure your site is as clear of waste timber as possible, freeing up space for you to work effectively.

  • We are happy to make one-off collections. Alternatively for larger sites we are happy to arrange regular collections.

    We will work with you to keep your building site clean, tidy and as efficient as possible.

  • Prices include VAT

  • Yes we issue waste transfer notes with all collections

  • Yes we do and are happy to supply a copy for your records upon request
